Easter!

We had a good Easter! It was colder than I thought it would be. We didn't get to hunt eggs outside on Easter morning because, of course, it was snowing! The weather here has been crazy the last few weeks! Anyways, we did an egg hunt in the living room! They did get to wear their Easter dresses at the Easter thing on base a few days before the snow. lol I didn't cook this year cause every holiday it feels like I spend the whole day in the kitchen and I don't get to enjoy my girls. We ended up going out to eat with our friends. lol next year, let's hope for NO snow! :)

We went to the butterfly Pavillion in Denver yesterday with some friends. The girls loved looking at the spiders there. They had a spider out that you could hold and Anna wanted to see it. They wouldn't let her hold it cause she was too young. But she was sooo excited about that ugly thing. lol of course Emma didn't want to get anywhere near the one that wasn't in a cage! I' with her! :) After that we went into the greenhouse area with all the butterflies. It was so hot and humid in there. haha that is one thing about the south that I DONT miss! My little brave Anna wanted to hold a butterfly...Emma eventually wanted to do it after seeing Anna do it. I love taking the girls to do things like this...We are going to try to do alot more before we have to move again...probably in a year :(

Well it's been awhile since I posted. We had a virus and I wasn't able to get online as much. But anyways, on Feb 8th, we went to Denver to see playhouse disney with Kim and Kai! The girls had so much fun...eventhough they were still a little sick. But I figured we were gonna go since I paid all that money for the tickets! :) Here are a few pics from our trip....

Christmas

I just realized I never posted about Christmas. It was just the four of us this year. We made cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. Emma Loves making cookies. The girls had a blast opening presents on Christmas Eve!! Emma was so excited about EVERYTHING she opened and wanted to open Anna's presents too. It was so much easier this year because they were both able to open the presents without my help.
On Christmas morning, they were so excited to play with their new kitchen. They still play with it everyday. lol and they got a new table and chair set, and Emma kept saying "Santa painted my chairs" and "Can I tell Santa Thank You?" Anna loved all the Einstein stuff they got, especially Rocket! Here's a little video from Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.
